Benefits Of Forum To Your Website

I noticed that a lot of my fellow mineral makeup makers from the forums that I always go to, have their own website but don't post their website. They never include their website on their signature. It seems to me that they are trying to hide their identity from all the forums that they actively attending.

I participate to forums for some reasons.

1. I want to be guru of my products
2. I want to get incoming links so I always include my website on my signature to all the forums that I always go to.

You have to remember that leaving or putting your link on your signature on every forum, can increase the number of incoming links of your website. The more incoming links, the more chances of getting higher PageRank. The higher the PageRank, the more authority that you can get for the keywords you are using for your products through your blog or website.
